ABOUT US

I started selling naked puts for premium over 8 years ago. To accelerate my trading, I needed a fast and efficient method to find ‘just the right, risk adjusted, naked option’ to sell.  Connecting Excel with the live option feeds I began to program the conditions and parameters that would help me find and limit the thousands of option contracts available to sell.

I still believe in the art and science of option selling.  Nothing, in my mind, will replace human intuition, experience and ever changing risk profile needed to navigate the markets.  Option Shopper helps the DIY investor find the best option choices at the time.

  • Credit Put Spread Shopper -  You pick the option expiration period and the underlying, Credit Put Spread Shopper does the rest.  Parameters you control – DELTA, Bid/Ask Max Spread, Minimum Premium Per Spread

  • Naked Call Shopper  - Automatically search up to six option expiration periods simultaneously on your chosen underlying.  Just like the Naked Put Shopper - parameters you can control include DELTA, Bid/ASK Max Spread, Minimum Premium per Contract, etc. This one is great for finding calls to use in a covered call trade.

System Requirements:

  • Hardware  - 32 or 64 Bit, 8 gig minimum (16 plus recommended) RAM, Windows System

  • Desktop Version of Excel

  • TD Ameritrade’s ThinkorSwim Desktop Application (free download).

  • TD Ameritrade Open Account.  There is no minimum funding requirements to open an account with TD Ameritrade.   You can trade through any platform you currently work with.
